Unlike ceramic coating, Icon Rocklear needs very minimal prep work, meaning it is not necessary to remove the clear coating on your car.Why is this important? Because when we buff or paint correct a car, we are removing the clear coat and in turn, decreasing the density and UV protection the clear coat provides. This leaves your car more vulnerable to damage from the sun, bird droppings, water spots etc...Not only that, but most manufacturers warranty against paint defects, and are void once 25% of the clear coat is removed. This happens quickly and is necessary in the ceramic coating process. The opposite is true with Icon Rocklear. We are not only avoiding harmful paint correction, but we are adding a layer thicker than your original clear coat.

Our team meticulously applies a layer of solution to your vehicle, leaving you with more protection than ceramic coating.
But how? Most ceramic coatings come in a bottle with ~30ml of product. Of that product about 60 to 80% of it is carrier fluids (or solvents) evaporate, or are wiped off, in the final stage of application, leaving you with about 6-12 ml of actual ceramic coating protection on the paint.
